Our book “How to build a treehouse” is out!

As of today, our DIY book “How to build a tree house” stretches its 192 pages into the reading light for the first time. All the knowledge from 15 years of building treehouses is packed in this practical guide.

For this purpose, we built a treehouse in the garden of friends. Its construction process is documented as a step-by-step guide with drawings contributed by illustrator David Sparshott. Using the book, you can either rebuild this tree house or use it as a template for your own ideas. Regardless of whether you have no tree, one or more trees available: here you’ll learn how to create your own retreat in the treetops. Be it as a yoga platform, a one-storey playhouse for children or as a two-storey and insulated guest house with a sleeping loft – we offer you numerous possibilities for implementation.

The book is aimed at anyone who loves working with wood and likes to handle tools. Do you want to involve your children, nieces, cousins or grandchildren in the project? Age-appropriate tips for children can be found at the beginning of each chapter. A QR-code is integrated at the end of the book, which leads to the construction plan of our treehouse. This can be modified depending on the project.

We are very pleased that the book has finally been published after a long creative period. At this point we would like to thank everyone who helped us! Last but not least each other, because without one  another this book would not exist. If you have any questions about the book, please drop us a line.
