Three years ago, the work of the artist moki was featured here by Christopher. Now Mokis new book SHELTER is published, in which she once more raises the question of protection and sanctuary to which she is providing answers in a poetic and sensitive way. Among the multifaceted shelters like refugees shacks or just protective body postures, also some treehouses are to be found. Like a second skin they huddle camouflage-like against their host, almost as if they were looking for protection for themselves in secure height.
