Cozy treecave for hibernation

We were happy to realize this very beautiful treehouse between two spruces. It was a long-held wish for our client to have a cozy cave with a view. Protected on three sides and open on one. To make the room brighter and more spacious we installed a big window facade. That way she can enjoy a fantastic view to the green plain behind. The sleeping loft under the saddleback roof serves as comfortable retreat and invites to read a book, relax and sleep. Outside we paneled the walls with reclaimed boards and the roof is shingled with western red cedar. The thing in the fourth picture, looking like gallows, is just an innocent pulley for piles of books, pillows and treehouse-snacks. So it has everything you need for a hibernation!
